The Planning and Zoning Division of the Planning and Development Services Department reviews new development in the City of Kirkwood, including:

• Ensuring new development and redevelopment are in compliance with the City's Code
• Working with land owners on subdivision matters
• Working with residents, developers, and business owners on permitting
• Providing economic development assistance and long-range planning services such as updates to the Comprehensive Plan that look to the future
• Supporting the Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustment, Architectural Review Board, Landmarks Commission, and Industrial Development Authority (click on each for applications and meeting information)

• Access "Choose Kirkwood" here -  the City's online data and research tool.  The Choose Kirkwood tool not only provides a space for available commercial properties to be listed by brokers, but it also allows interested businesses or individuals to look at various demographic, labor force, and economic data.  The data can be customized within a certain distance of a particular site or can be viewed for the entire City of Kirkwood.  This is a great FREE tool that can help you make an informed decision about locating or expanding your business in Kirkwood!
