What is Community Risk Reduction or CRR? Community Risk Reduction (CRR) is the process to identify and prioritize local risks, followed by the integrated and strategic investment of resources (emergency response and prevention) to reduce their occurrence and impact. CRR focuses not only on fire prevention but also on emergency medical services. The Kirkwood Fire Department supports the guidelines and resources described by the The Vision 20/20 Project.
