The City of Kirkwood’s Charter places legislative and policy-making authority with the City Council and administrative authority with the Chief Administrative Officer. The Administration Department serves as an important interface between the Council, the public, and City departments. Department staff bring professional city management and public relations skills to the City and play an important leadership role in its governance.

The City of Kirkwood invites residents who want to have their voices heard – but perhaps don’t have the time to attend meetings – to sign up to take short surveys on an as-needed basis. Surveys take about a minute to complete, and there is no fee to sign up. The surveys will be anonymous and infrequent, and personal information will be protected. The surveys will work on any computer, phone, or mobile device. An added benefit to residents is that they will get full results as soon as the survey period (two days) ends.
