Kirkwood residents can get a head start on fall cleanup with the City's free Fall Bulky Item Collection. Residents with City sanitation service may register to have up to four large items collected at no additional charge.

Collection is scheduled according to your regular trash route. Registration is required in advance, so be sure to sign up by the deadline for your route.

Fall 2026 Collection Schedule

• Monday routes: Collection begins September 8 | Register by August 29
• Tuesday routes: Collection begins September 14 | Register by September 4
• Wednesday routes: Collection begins September 21 | Register by September 11
• Thursday routes: Collection begins September 28 | Register by September 18

Items will be collected throughout the week beginning on the date listed for your route.

Before Your Collection Week

Place registered items 1–3 feet from the curb by Sunday night before your collection week begins. Keep items clear of parked vehicles and other obstacles so crews can reach them safely.

Residents may register up to four large items, such as furniture or appliances. Electronics, hazardous waste, yard waste and construction debris are not accepted through the bulky item collection program.

Your sanitation account must be current to participate.
