The City of Kirkwood has partnered with Double Eagle Development to redevelop the City’s Public Works facility into a new multifamily residential community. The 5.9-acre site will be transformed into a vibrant neighborhood, featuring a mix of housing types, walkable design, and strong connections to nearby amenities in Downtown Kirkwood.

Selected through a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) process, Double Eagle’s plan aligns with the City’s long-term vision for thoughtful growth and community-centered design. Planning and design work will begin this fall, with opportunities for public engagement as the project progresses.
