The purpose of The Planning Committee is to offer the consultant planning team direction and guidance throughout the development of the Parks & Recreation Master Plan. Through a consensus building process, the Planning Committee shall strive to develop a plan that will be presented to the public, approved by the Park Board, supported by the City Council and ultimately implemented, thus enriching the quality of life for the citizens of Kirkwood.

Master Plan PDF Files

The Master Plan for the Parks & Recreation Department will be presented to the public on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, at 7 p.m. at the Kirkwood Community Center. Links to PDF files of the plan that will be presented are available for online viewing below. A hard copy of the plan can be reviewed in person at the Reference Section of the Kirkwood Public Library, the City Clerk's office at City Hall, and at the Community Center offices at 111 South Geyer.
