Call to Order

Dave Freese called the meeting to order at 6:01.m.

Approval of Minutes

Susan Williams made a motion to approve the minutes of July 17. John Hoffmann seconded the motion. All were in favor.

Citizen Comments

Craig Conway introduced himself and said he was running for city council.

Old Business

Staff distributed copies of the essays that were received. Members should forward to Georgia their top 10 choices by October 10th.  Donations to fund the prizes are still needed.

Staff asked for feedback on the board and commission booth at Greentree. Members who were there first thing in the morning were met by staff and had no problems. However, it seemed that people staffing the booth were not always good about passing along information to incoming people about where to find things.

Dave Freese inquired if the city attorney had been able to answer the question that Mr. Moore had posed concerning Imo’s. Staff reported that the city attorney had responded that Imo’s was not breaking any laws or ordinances that he knew of in regards to their delivery policy. Staff was asked to draft a response to Mr. Moore communicating that response for Chairman Freese’s signature.

New Business

Staff reminded members that they are invited to a board and commission reception on October 5th.

Adjournment

Ray Lester moved to adjourn. Art Manse seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.

The next meeting date is November 20, 2007.
