Call to Order

Terry Bryant called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m.

Visitors

None.

Approval of Minutes

Susan Williams made a motion to approve the minutes of January 23, 2007. Walter Smith seconded the motion. All were in favor.

New Business

Staff informed the commission that Marcus Engel is engaged to be married and is moving to Florida so he will no longer be a member.

Susan Williams reported that on his own her son Reid Williams on 4/16/04 had filed a complaint with the Missouri Commission on Human Rights against the Fantasy Shop on Kirkwood Road due to it’s lack of accessibility. A hearing has been set for 7/17/07.

The mayor entered the meeting at 6:17 p.m.

Susan Williams also stated that on the evening news for Channel 4 at 10pm there will be a feature on the Disability Project, a theater group that Reid Williams belongs to.

Walter Smith moved to adjourn. Ray Lester seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 6:37  p.m.  

The next meeting date is May 15, 2007.  Terry Bryant reported that he will be out of town.
