Attendance - Committee members, Bliss, Bond, Farris, Hall, Knudsen, Miller, Spitzer were present as was staff member Claire Budd.

The draft report was reviewed and suggested changes were made. Format for comments was agreed upon. A revised draft will be circulated by e-mail on Friday and committee members will respond with any additional changes by Tuesday. Appendices to the report will be completed by the end of next week. It was agreed that any additional work could be done by e-mail and that this evening’s meeting would be the committee’s last.

Bliss and Hall thanked the committee for all their good work

Committee Purpose/Goals/Outcomes

Purpose - Undertake a review of the city’s communication with the public.

Goals - . Assist in strengthening and improving communication between the city and the

public

. Increase understanding of how Kirkwood functions

. Provide a non-threatening avenue for citizens, council, and officials to

interact for the greater good of Kirkwood.

. Help citizens overcome reluctance to become involved in community issues

Outcomes - Recommendations to the city related to the purpose and goals of the project.
