VIII. CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda is a meeting method that many City Councils
use to help make City Council meetings more efficient and
meaningful to the members of the audience. The City Council
voted to begin using the Consent Agenda method as of June 1,
1998. All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been
distributed to each member of the Kirkwood City Council for
reading and study, are considered to be routine, and will be
enacted by one motion of the Council with no separate
discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be
removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda
by request of a member of the City Council. The expenditures
listed in the consent agenda are items already approved in the
current city budget.
