The meeting was
called to order and roll called. Board procedure was explained
and minutes from the previous meeting were approved without
change. Cases were then called as follows:
Old Business
Case No. 16-2007
Chalet Homes, Rex Pearl, applicant/owner of 338 Caroline Avenue
(R-4 Zoning District) wishes to construct a single-family
residence that will not conform to the front yard setback along
Nirk Avenue of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously approved
Case No. 19-2007
Amy Diemer, applicant/owner of 105 Thorncliff Lane (R-3 Zoning
District) wishes to construct a single-family residence that
will not conform to the two side yard setbacks of the Zoning
Ordinance. Unanimously approved
New Business
Case No. 20-2007
Mark Doering of Doering Engineering, applicant, Concordia
Lutheran Church, owner of 505 S. Kirkwood Rd., (R-5 Zoning
District) wishes to request a variance from planting strip
requirement and construct parking lots along Woodbine Avenue,
Clay Avenue and Idlewild Avenue that will not conform to the
front yard setback of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously
denied
Case No. 21-2007
The Magic House, applicant/owner of 516 S. Kirkwood Road.
(R-5/R-4 Zoning District) wishes to appeal use classification
and request variance from the required number of parking spaces
of the Zoning Ordinance. Withdrew request to appeal use
classification; Parking space requirement – unanimously approved
Case No. 22-2007
Agape Construction, applicant, Linda Book, owner of 332 Fairway
Lane (R-4 Zoning District) wishes to construct an addition that
will not conform to the side yard setback of the Zoning
Ordinance. Unanimously approved
Case No. 23-2007
Joy Doll applicant/owner of 917 Thornberry Lane (R-4 Zoning
District) wishes to construct an addition that will not conform
to the rear yard setback of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously
approved
Case No. 24-2007
Jack Jacaty, applicant, Tom White, owner of 601 Essex Court (R-3
Zoning District) constructed a new single-family residence that
does not conform to the front yard setback of the Zoning
Ordinance. Unanimously approved
Case No. 25-2007
Paul Boyer of Civil Engineering Design Consultants, Inc.,
applicant, Michael & Elizabeth Gibbons, owner of 214 & 218 N.
Clay Avenue (B-2 Zoning District) wishes to request a variance
from the required number of parking spaces and wishes to
construct a new office building that will not conform to the
front yard setback of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously
approved
