Present:            Gerald DeWulf, Chairman, Norella Huggins, Jason Weissenburger, Susan Waters and James Myers

 

City Attorney:  Andrew Buchanan

The meeting was called to order and roll called.  Board procedure was explained and minutes from the previous meeting were approved without change. Cases were then called as follows:

 

New Business

 

Case No. 14-2007 Mike Mahn of 606 Clemens Court, (R-4 Zoning District) wishes to construct a single-family residence that will not conform to the front yard setback along West Essex Avenue of the Zoning Ordinance.  Unanimously approved

 

Case No. 15-2007 Frontenac Bank of 301 N. Kirkwood Road. (B-2 Zoning District) wishes to construct a bank that will not conform to the front yard setback along West Adams Avenue of the Zoning Ordinance.  Unanimously approved

 

Case No. 16-2007  Chalet Homes, Rex Pearl of 338 Caroline Avenue (R-4 Zoning District) wishes to construct a single-family residence that will not conform to the front yard setback along Nirk Avenue of the Zoning Ordinance.  Continued to June 11, 2007 agenda – insufficient legal notice given.

 

Case No. 17-2007 Edwards Real Estate Development, Matt Edwards of 660 Scott Avenue (R-3 Zoning District) wishes to construct a single-family residence that will not conform to the front yard setback along Alice Avenue of the Zoning Ordinance.  Unanimously denied

 

Case No. 18-2007 Tatyana Kapustyan of 319 W. Woodbine Avenue (R-4 Zoning District) wishes to create parking spaces that will not conform to the front yard setback of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously approved

 

 

Case No. 19-2007  Amy Diemer of 105 Thorncliff Lane (R-3 Zoning District) wishes to construct a single-family residence that will not conform to the front yard and side yard setbacks of the Zoning Ordinance.  Front yard setback - unanimously approved, insufficient legal notice for side yard, moved to June 11, 2007 agenda.
