  Board of Adjustment Minutes

 Kirkwood City Hall Council Chambers, 139 S. Kirkwood Rd, March 10, 2008 – 7:00 P.M

Present:  Gerald DeWulf, Chairman, Susan Waters, James Myers, Lynn Allen and Carol Gilster

City Attorney:  Andrew Buchanan                              

Court Reporter:  Kelley J. Olroyd

Staff Member Present: Tony Carvalho

The meeting was called to order and roll called.  Board procedure was explained and minutes from the previous meeting were approved without change. Cases were then called as follows:

New Business

Case No. 04-2008 George Hudson, applicant of 315 W. Madison Ave., (R-4 Zoning District) request a variance for a parking space that will not conform to the front yard setback of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously Denied

Case No. 05-2008 Clinton Enyeart, applicant. Jim Canfield, owner of 1930 Rayner Rd., (R-1 Zoning District) wishes to construct a new single-family residence that will not conform to the front yard setback of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously Approved

Case No. 06-2008 Steve King, applicant. Rosanne Horan Trustee, owner of 10256 Manchester Rd., (B-3 Zoning District) request a variance for a reduction in landscape buffer requirements along Woodlawn and the south property line, and a variance for parking setback along Woodlawn that will not conform to the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously Approved

Case No. 07-2008 Jim Hoffmann, applicant/owner of 1607 View Woods Dr., (R-1 Zoning District) wishes to construct a two-car attached garage along the North property line facing Lindeman Rd. that will not conform to the front yard setback of the Zoning Ordinance. Unanimously Approved
