Welcome and thank you for visiting the Kirkwood Fire Department on the city’s website.  I hope you find our pages helpful and informative and will stop by often.

In these pages you will find the stations, apparatus, and equipment used by the men and women of the Kirkwood Fire Department to provide the highest level of service possible to the citizens, businesses, institutions, and visitors of Kirkwood and Oakland. Our firefighters and paramedics are dedicated to protecting your lives, property, and well being.  I am proud to be associated with this outstanding group of professionals.

In these pages, you will also find information on the programs and services offered by the Kirkwood Fire Department. Several of our more popular services have direct e-mail links to allow you to schedule services on-line or receive further information.  We provide links to other sites as well and will soon be developing interactive fire safety activities for children.

We have included an on-line service satisfaction survey that is e-mailed directly to my office.  Our goal is to provide you with excellent service whenever and wherever we meet.  Please take advantage of this opportunity to tell us how we’re doing.

I hope this site introduces you to who we are and what we do. Our mission is to protect the most important lives and property in Kirkwood and Oakland … Yours.   The Kirkwood Fire Department is YOUR department.  I hope that you are as proud of it as I am.

Please feel free to contact me by telephone at 314-822-5883 or by e-mail at openlatv@kirkwoodmo.org .  Thanks again for visiting.  This site is a work in progress, so please come back often and check our progress.
