House Number Two was rebuilt, and the historic castle was completely renovated, using dedicated property taxes overwhelmingly approved by voters on November 7, 2000. The castle, which remains, was originally built in 1929 and is the oldest operating firehouse in St. Louis County.
Fire House Two opened in April 2003, and was dedicated
on August 20, 2003.
