The Guitar Will Be Back!  The Kirkwood Arts Commission will again sponsor the display of Brian Watson's large-scale guitar sculpture, titled Heritage.  Brian's scuulpture anchored the 2017 event, and it will be back! He created the sculpture in 2015 from found materials. The guitar display will be presented in honor of Mel Bay, the Kirkwood musician who literally wrote the book that many professional and amateur musicians have used to learn to play music.

Most of Downtown Kirkwood’s numerous stores, locally owned boutiques, and restaurants will be open during the event.  Festival activities will be located on North Kirkwood Road and on the two blocks of Jefferson that intersect Kirkwood Road.

Road Closures: These two blocks of Jefferson, between N. Clay and N. Taylor Avenues, as well as Kirkwood Road between Argonne Drive and Adams Avenue, will be closed to vehicular traffic starting early in the morning on June 10.
