GREENTREE FESTIVAL 2011:
THANK YOU!

Another successful Greentree Festival has come and gone, and we would like to thank everyone who was involved with this year's event - the planning committee, our sponsors, the performers, all the arts & crafts vendors and artisans, all the folks who hosted food, game, and information booths, and everyone who attended!  For the fourth year in a row, we had a soggy Sunday, but otherwise, it was a great year.  THANK YOU.  Photos have been posted on our Facebook page (link above).

Using Fire Hydrants

To request use of one of the City of Kirkwood’s fire hydrants, please contact the Kirkwood Water Department at 314-984-5936, or visit us in person at 212 S. Taylor Avenue in Kirkwood. The department needs the exact address or intersection location of the fire hydrant for the permit. Fire hydrant usage is allowed by permit only, which includes a fire hydrant usage fee paid in advance by check. Also required is a copy of a current backflow test report for the backflow device that will be used. Please note that it is illegal to use or operate any City of Kirkwood fire hydrant without first obtaining a permit from the Kirkwood Water Department.

The charge for hydrant usage is $15.00 per day. In addition, an inspection fee of $15.00 per hydrant must be paid. Inspections are performed when the permit period expires.
