This intimate theater seats 387 and has some availability for rental for seminars, business meetings, dance recitals and concerts. For details, please contact Sherry St. Onge at 314-822-5859.

Kirkwood Youth Theatre

Kirkwood Youth Theatre is sponsored by the Kirkwood Parks and Recreation Department and produced by Laura Thal, Recreation Supervisor for Kirkwood Parks and Recreation. This community theatre group performs two productions per year, with four performances per production, in April and December. For each show, a director, musical director, and choreographer are hired, as well as light and sound technicians. The cast for each show is comprised of 50 to 80 youth and teens. Rehearsals run for two months before the show opens. Parent involvement includes set building and painting, costume work, and various duties during the show. Performances are held at the Robert G. Reim Theater at the Kirkwood Community Center in Kirkwood Park. For ticket information, please call the Kirkwood Community Center at 314-822-5855.

Kirkwood Youth Theatre provides an excellent opportunity for youth interested in the performing arts. It is a wonderful learning experience in all aspects of community theatre, as well as a chance for social interaction.
