Kirkwood City Clerk Will Serve Professional Organization as Board Member

Kirkwood, Missouri -- Friday, October 19, 2007 -- Betty Montano, who has served as City Clerk for Kirkwood for the past 12 years, was recently inducted as a Board Member of the Missouri City Clerk and Finance Officer’s Association of Eastern Missouri (MCCFOA-Eastern Division). Betty has earned her Certified Municipal Clerk designation through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and is currently pursuing her Master Municipal Clerk designation.  She currently also holds the designation of Missouri Registered City Clerk Sustaining Classification through Missouri State University (The Missouri Local Government Program) and is pursuing the Missouri Professional City Clerk designation.  Betty has served the MCCFOA-Eastern Division as president from 2001-2002 and took office as a Director for 2007-2009 on October 18, 2007.
